cracks in fire box and ring

I have a large Egg that will be 3 years old this xmas. I've noticed that my fire ring has a vertical crack in it. I've also noticed my fire box has more than one crack in it. I haven't done anything with the Egg other than cook with it and the occasional burn-off.
Are these things covered by the warranty and if so, should I get them replaced?
thanks in advance,
John

If purchased from a dealer, they have a lifetime warranty.
Why not get them replaced they are under warranty.

They are a warranty item, but your egg will work fine with the cracks. I have replaced both internal pieces of my large a couple times under warranty, but I have the luxury of working about 10 miles from HQ so I have no cost except the drive over.
Most people experience the cracks, and several of us cook with the firebox in 5-6-7 pieces. No worries as long as it all holds together. -
Yes -- I've seen pictures of both in pieces. I cook about 4 times a week on the egg and it seems like it would be a pain in the *** to have to piece those back together every time I have to take the unit apart to get all the ash out.

Here's a long shot, but if you don't have a warranty, here is a post that posted today in Austin. Maybe you can work something out.

Personally I have brand new fireboxes for my large and my small sitting in my garage that I got under warranty. In the mean time I just used J-B Weld to put the old jigsaw puzzles back together. It holds quite well!

Here's what I did when mine did that. I got my replacement from the dealer and then kept using the cracked one until it fell apart.Knoxville, TN
