Was at RD this morning still no US royal oak..but I spotted some overpriced Prime strip and ribeye...our RD doesn,t have prime all the time so I snatched up the strip loin...ended up with 10 of these, and this one has a date with the small egg in just a couple hours..can't wait....there's more marbling than the pic shows.

a very light coating of Dales steak seasoning...definately didn't want to overpower the natural flavors to much..but for normal choice grade steaks I always use dales..to me it takes a steak over the top...I've heard it described as soy sauce on steroids...we like it..

Wess could you send a pic of bottle of Dales. Would like to try.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

You have to be a business or a non profit organization to get membership which is free...never looked for hanger..but the selection is pretty good, I come to believe from reading other members posts that they don't all have the same stock..apparently area specific or something...

Light coat of Dales steak seasoning and a light coat of Raising the steaks..cooked on the small between 400 and 450 until 125 internal..came out a nice medium...medium rare

RD is restaurant depot..and my last big buy of lump was BGE lump from Seasonal distributors , the folks that put on Eggfest in Waldorf...RD has pallets full of the Argentina crap and some unopened pallets of the Paraguay stuff but none of the US made..

I took a bit of soy and put a bit on my steak tonight and it did give it a great extra flavor. I will have to find some of your stuff. Thanks for the new found flavor on my steak.
