I'm over in Idaho Falls. I was eying the "Eggs under the Big Sky" Eggfest up in Missoula and was wondering if there would be much of an Idaho contingent it.

Hey, Watch any good Fiesta Bowls recently. Last 2 out of 3 I've really enjoyed, especially 3 yrs ago. Do you remember who Boise played that year I don't recall.

  • Started in Fort Worth, moved to Amarillo, Lubbock, Dallas, Houston, Austin and El Paso (of all places). Left there in 1983 chasing the almighty dollar.

As well as the Montana eggfest, you should consider the PNW eggfest next June in Seattle. It will be the 5th year for that fest.

    Good eggin'

PNW Eggfest registration is already closed. However I might give them a call and see what I can arrange. Thanks for the heads up!

  • Just watch for the registration to open up late spring. There will be a banner on this forum announcing the event. I've made it every year (except one) and really enjoyed it.

I do seem to recall what team Boise played in probably the BEST bowl game in recent years. Unfortunately it did not turn out to my liking but it does not diminish the quality of the game.

My brother lives in Boise and has been asking me tons of questions about the BGE.  I am sending him over to your house for some samples..... :)

  • I'm a day late and a dollar short here, but I'm just outside of ID, 35 miles west of Lewiston in Pomeroy, WA. Just got my egg and literally, we can't cook enough on it!

Lived in Boise for 5 years and loved it. Got a degree from BSU while there. Great city, awesome outdoor activities. Now reside in Nashville but miss Idaho a great deal.

Idaho is a great place to egg.  I cook all year out here.  I have a good covered patio so that helps when it is raining or snowing but all in all a great place to be.

  • I consider myself from there, even though I'm not. Went to a year of school in Rexburg, and my wife's family is from Idaho Falls. We drive up there a few times a year (Only a few hours drive north of Salt Lake City, where we live). I love Idaho, great place. We have access to some land outside of Idaho Falls, I hope to build a home and retire there.
