Spent the past weekend camping with the wife and kids kids up on a little pond we call Lake Lanier. What a great weekend.
With all proper credit to Mr. Buffett, I call this one "Cheeseburgers in Paradise"
And we were lucky enough to witness a couple awesome sunsets Friday and Saturday night:
And yours truly doing what I do best:
The fishing wasn't bad, but the eating and relaxing were top notch.

If only a man could do that at least 350 days a year.
Then work would be a breeze Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers. -

Paradise is correct. What a great spot and great looking trailer!
I've been gone from the ATL area for 10 years and I remember reading that Lanier was drying up. Looks like it's back to normal, is it? Spent many of hours on that lake and miss it dearly.

Two years ago Lanier was almost 22' below full. Over the past two years we have received enough rainfall (and mercy from the Corps of Engineers to reduce release from the dam) to get the Lake back to full pool.
It really is a terrific lake and we are lucky to live so close to it. -
