Borrowed a friend's Guru on Friday and there was a chance of rain. Needed to make sure the Guru stayed dry. Looked at Staple's for a plastic box to put the controller in and planned on drilling holes for wires and putting rubber grommets in to keep things water tight. Decided against that since the grommets needed to be really big to allow the probes to be inserted, thus not making the seal tight around the cables. Figured that was pointless so I looked for a box bigger than one that would hold just the Guru. This one is a 3 liter "Really Useful Box" (3LiterBox) It holds the Guru, probes, power converter, blower, and adapter. I ended up putting the Guru in the box and running the cables over one side and putting the lid on. It doesn't fit so tight that it crushes the wires, but tight enough with the handles securing the top to keep any rain out. They come in different colors, but I figured the clear would be the best to see the LCD display. When done cooking, it's a great toybox for your stuff.
