Frank that's excellent spanish, si estan muy sabrosos, they have 3-4 husks each so they keep the moisture pretty well

We winter in Green Valley, AZ. The best tamales we have had are purchased from a guy who has them in his ice chest in the dollar store parking lot. His wife makes them. If Michelein gave stars to a tamale dealer, this would definitely be a three star tamale dealer......tom

John yea isn't that combination of smoke from the fire & the husk great in producing an incredible taste , now, the ones wrapped in banana leaves are out of this world.....love them too when I can get them...usually from the south of México

That would be wonderful. We had some pulled pork left over from a previous cook... making pork tacos tonight. The chili pequins are ready so some dynamite hot sauce in the works too.
Not really an egg thing but good nonetheless. -

these are the things my dreams are made of! I need to learn to cook real Mexican food. We have one decent take-out place, but the service is terrible. They are a local family who decided to open a restaurant - the food is great, but...well....I wish I was sitting at your home while eating it! :P

Jason, best thing I can suggest is come over for the holidays & enroll in a cooking crash course......a nice beach would do preferably......you are always welcome here my friend!!

Dale, this is almost a piece of cake......you can have the tamales prepared & frozen as long as you like,,,then when you come back from a long day they take nothing to be ready.....have a great weekend my friend.
