OT - Bear in my backyard

Here is a link to a bear that was walking around my property in the Mid Hudson Valley of NY last week. Don't see to many of these, but they have been more active in the last few years. Ear tagged, I'll bet he weighs in about 400 pounds. :woohoo:

We have them crawling through here about 1-2 times a year too but none have made it into my back yard.Knoxville, TN

We have had bears here for the last 5 years or so. Others have taken still pictures, but I got lucky. He has left his calling card on many an occasion :huh:

Wow, that beats the armadillo that my dog chased into the pool yesterday morning. He swam a couple of laps and climbed out.

had one a few years back hit the feeders, only put them out in the winter months now. that is a good size one, hope hes just moving thrufukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

these little bears usually run the other way when they see or even hear you. see a racoon in the day and chances are its rabid and will run right at you big bad scary racoonsfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

No bears around here, but the eerie, late-night calls of coyotes alerts me of their presence..

They come thru in a pack right around dusk howing away around here
