Grilled Okra

Herd about this somewhere.Never tried it before.Will again.
Skewered some Okra,drizzled with EVOO,S&P.
On the Egg 400 direct.
Drizzled with Balsamic SYRUP,removed fronm skewers and wallered it around to coat well.
Protein=Split Breast.
Plated.
TASTEE supper.Try the grilled Okra if you have not already.I love it when I try something new and it turns out good.Don't you???

Thanks.Just cooked down yellow and Zuc squash with onions in EVOO and Butta with S&P.Topped with parm and put in the oven to melt the cheeze.It was good.

One of Jana's favorite sides - squash & zukes cooked down with onions, sometimes with some garlic. A little Cavender's Greek seasoning then grated parmesan for topping. Even better if done in a cast iron skillet.... Yummy! :woohoo: :woohoo:

We also tried this earlier this year and love it, but you have to eat it right when it comes off of the grill. To me it has a real nutty flavor to it.Knoxville, TN

Hoss you said “Drizzled with Balsamic SYRUP”, this was after you pulled: correct?
If doing over would you drizzle before pulling to cook in the balsamic?Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers. -
It was after.If I were using Balsamic vinegar,I would toss before cooking.Using the syrup I don't think it is necessary.
