I´m back, and i brought some ribs !

Howdy folks...

Recently i didnt really have any time for the forums since i bought a house, moved, renovated it and also was quite busy with some bbq events and off course my day job.

Anyway, finally i found some time and today i cooked my first ribs in my new garden. Oh, and i promise to stop by more often ;-)

I seasoned those Babyback Ribs ( wich are only about a pound per rack over here with those tiny hogs) with some texasbbqrub and cooked them Johnny Trig style, with brown sugar, honey and margarine in the aluminum foil for an hour. Total time was about 4 hours
at 240-250 F in the XL Egg with some hickory smoke.

While moving i found a package again with half a dozen jars of Texas pepper Jelly. Damnit, i was looking for that stuff for about a year and didnt find it when i needed it...

Used some Peach Habanero jelly for one rack and sweet baby rays honey chipotle with the other, TPJ was waaaaay better. smi5.gif

Love that stuff, if only texas wasnt on the oher side of the pond...
