Old table needed to go to egg heaven and we decided
to come up with something a little bigger
In the beginning there was a frame
we used a concrete board with a stucco finish on it
Finished it with a couple of pieces of granite that we
got cheap:

That is inspirational. How does the stucco apply? Easy? I am going to make one soon enough. I don't have the room to make one that wide, but like that idea. I'll likely do a tiled top, but the stucco on the sides looks sweet!!! The pullouts are great too. Place to throw some lump or other gear. Very nice. Are the doors painted then?

It's amazing the how inspiring a hunk of smoked meat can be. :woohoo: -
The side are a 4x8 sheets of concrete board that
look like stucco on one side. All you have to do
is cut it to size and paint it. It was easy to work with and should last forever. They also make it in 1x3 and 1x4 and that is what I used for the trim and doors.
