I am slow cooking some ribs at around 300 -- okay, so mid slow anyway. :laugh: Do these have to be flipped at all? They're bone side down right now. Thanks.

I never flip my ribs but usually never go above 250. should be fine without the flip

I don't flip my ribs be it Spare, country and Never done Baby or beef. I smoke my spares bone side down as well.

I would say as long as you are using the placesetter. no need to flip. but be sure nothing is haning over the sides. Probably 3-4 hrs this way.

Nice looking pictures there!! I am doing mine on about 275-300, mostly 275, because of time contraints. Hope they turn out as good as your look!!

I use a rack fer a few slabs...but if you don't rack it, I wouldn't flip em....I usually do mine 225-250 then after they are done, I wrap em and sprinkle em w/ brown sugar and honey then put back on fer another hour..Hunting-Fishing-Cookin' on my EGG! Nothing else compares!

Are you using a rib rack or laying them down flat? You got bb backs or spares or what? :huh:
