Faith,
I've seen several posts where you've cook crab or crab legs. I want to try that but I need instructions. I think I read where you punch holes in the crab? How do you know when it's done, etc. Are crab legs cooked the same as whole crabs? We have Blue Crabs here. Thanks.

Hi Gary. The crabs I have been making (King crab legs) are already cooked and I just egg them to reheat and put a little smoke on them.
If you want to cook blue crabs, I would make garlic crabs. This recipe is for a dunguness, but works for blue crabs too.

Let me know how they turn out.

Thanks Rob. Costco sells King Crab legs. I don't know if they are precooked or not. If not, I'll give your method a try.__________________________________________Dripping Springs, Texas.Just west of Austintatious

The king crab legs that Costco sells are cooked. I don't know if it's the same as stone crab, where they cook them right on the boat when they are caught.
They just need to be gently reheated.

I think most crab legs are precooked, they spoil very quickly otherwise.
