Beef Short Ribs

Wife just brought home a package of meat from Sams labeled Beef Short Ribs. They are about 1/2 inch thick but appear to be cut across the bone, so there is no typical rib bone like on a pork babyback or spares. She thinks I am an egg genious.......how in the world do I cook these things?
