I haven't posted in a while but been doing some baking and they are something to try again.
First I did a Cranberry Walnut yeast bread,
Then I did a multi-grain Pesto Baguette and man was it yummy

Thanks,
I just got a new baking stone as i left my old one in Norcal by mistake. the newer stones are smaller and cause you to make the loaves accordingly -
Am I right that the last image is a cross cut of the Pesto Baguette? And what temp. for that bake, please? Looks like something I must try.

Correct,
I bake breads at 375-400 once the egg is stabilized and it was about a 25-30 minute bake until they sound hollow when thumped. One of the BEST and CHEAPEST pesto sauces is the Members Mark available at Sam's. I use it alot on pizza also. -
Very Nice

Chubby,
nice to hear feom you. I'd be happy to fed-ex you anything you want. The cranberry walnut bread was exceptional and the pesto was good also. we used the left over pesto to make bruscetta and it was still good. I only get time to eggsperiment with things between casino projects.
