Anyone else having issues getting them for the large? I ordered one from my dealer at the end of May. They said they were back ordered for a week or two. Today I got a call and they said they will not have them till August or September.

I have seen these on the Weber forum I frequent, they look very cool, and the forum members really like them. -
That's a fire grate. He is looking for a cooking suface, aka grid.
I personally can't get myself to say 'grid' unless I'm talking about it when it's raised. -
Hey, he asked about a grate, kemosabe showed him a grate. Next thing you know, someone will mention a place setter. Or is it settING. It's all so confusing!
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

My favorite part is when it actually pisses people off.

And the sad thing is... it DOES!!

Yeah I am talking about the grid. I thought it was a very strange thing not to be able to get into stock. She talked to the distributor and that's what they told her
-
You may still want to check out the cast-iron-grate.com, it is a cooking grid and is more versitile than the BGE, in my opinion

I agree with Capt. Frank, you won't regret checking out the Craycort grid system.

Looks cool. Thanks for the tips.

It doesn't piss me off, but I find it ironic that it is so commonly called a grate when there is clearly another component called a grate, listed in the BGE manual, website, bags of lump, etc. It's a grid, plain and simple.

I ordered a large from outdoor home on line. They have them in stock. www.outdoorhome.com

Steven Raichlen just called it a grill grate  :P
On TV none the less -
Well if it was on an Egg, Steve was mistaken. :P
I thought he was a Weber homer, which does have a "grate" cooking surface.
