I am in Alaska and need a recipe for silver salmon

    Tommy,[p]Fillet or whole? I have a real simple fillet recipe for a two inch thick slab -- sprinkle the slab with season salt. Get your Egg up to 250 and put your slab on the grill and let it sit there for about half an hour to 40 minutes until it feels done -- poke at it with your finger. If it jiggles, it's not done.[p]With fresh Alaska salmon, this should be phenomenal!
  • Tommy,[p]It is great with Alder chips added to the fuel. We also like dill along with salt & pepper for seasoning.... and that is a wonderful feast just in itself. Add a crispy skinned baked potato with accoutrements, a green salad, and rolls/bread if wanted. A nice bottle of wine, or iced tea... Yummy!
