I just got my egg on Friday and on Friday night around midnight I had my first pork butt on the grates.....It was an 8 pound piece of tail, and it cooked really quick. I had a hard time stabilizing the egg to 250, so it settled on 300. The rear end took only 6 hours to cook (internal temp 205)...I let it rest for 3 hours then I pulled it....It was super easy to pull and it was some of the best pulled pork I have had.

I am looking to build a table now, and have been reviewing all of the posts..

BTW: I made a great rub and injection. Used apple and hickory to smoke....YUM!
