Begging for peach cobbler recipe (lame, I know)
Options
ground control

A few days ago at the end of cook someone posted a description of a dutch oven cobbler that sounded super easy--it had an oatmeal crust. I've tried all the various search devices on this forum, but I can't find it. Found lots of others, but not that particular one. Would be most appreciative if someone could point me the right way. As I said, had oatmeal, and didn't have self-rising dough. Thanks!

There are a lotta super easy ones.I prefer rolling out biscuit dough really thin and placing on the top, basted with butter and sugar.Place peaches(2 cups) and butter(2 sticks) and sugar(2 cups) in a saucepan and cook til syrupy.Move peach mixture to baking dish.Cut Thin strips of biscuit dough and cover fruit.Brush with butter and sprinkle generously with sugar, cook in oven at 350 til Brown,BUBLY AND yummee.

I believe civil engineer's reply in this thread is what you are looking for:
Cobbler
I know the search feature can be frustrating. In case it helps you learn more about it, I have included my search below. Note, it may take over a minute to return the results.

That was it! Thanks so much.

Ground Control, for future reference when searching, I find the following to be helpful. In fact, I found the recipe you were looking for in just a few seconds.
In the upper right hand corner of the forum page, there is a box labeled "site search".
Put the cursor in the box, but don't enter any search terms, just hit Enter.
On the next screen, enter your search terms and pick one of the radio buttons. I entered... peach oatmeal cobbler... and selected "all words".
Search was quick and it had only two results, one of which was the one you wanted.
Now if I could just figure out how to search for pics posted by a particular person!I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

really appreciate the guidance. was using the box directly, and obviously wasn't finding it.
