About to throw a slab of beef ribs on the grill this weekend for father's day, wondering what method and rub is preferred for beef ribs. Any advice is appreciated

Simple rub, maybe just salt and pepper. Platesetter legs up with a drip plan on the platesetter and the grip on the legs and the ribs on the grid. Cook for about 4 or 5 hours at 250 depending on the rib.

I use Dizzy Ipg Raisin the Steaks and they come out pretty tasty.

AJ,
I've done beef ribs a lot, as my wife developed an allergy to pork when she was pregnant last year (argh). Here are some pics and links (click the title of the pics) to writeups on our blog...
In general, use a rub with less sugar than you would use on pork. I cook similar to spares at 250 for at least 5 hours. I've found that they take a little longer than pork in general.
Beef Ribs With Pomegranate Glaze
Beef Ribs With Maple-Bourbon BBQ Sauce
Coffee-Cardamom Beef Ribs
Enjoy!
