Do you get alot of lemon taste for the fish or mainly the seasoning/rub? It looks great, we love tilapia!

Lots of lemon taste. I even eat some of the tangy charred lemon sliced. :P Tim

Tim, that looks really good. Looks like you almost some kind of a crust going on the fish.

Mike I can't lie. During my cook I took a quick shower and I come back to an egg exceeding 400° and the lemon slices were getting crispy. All is good and what you see is a cook that got a little crispy in places. :) It didn't bother me at all. Tim
  • Nice, Tim. I buy tilapia at RD 10 lbs. at a time. I haven't tried this yet. I will be making it soon.

I thought you might be making fun of someones spelling???? That was my first thought when I read it.
Must have missed something, I didn't have my computer for 5 days and went thru egghead forum withdrawal!

Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 6 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

Hi Faith. Actually I am a terrible speller and I did correct my error in the body of my post. In the the subject line I was just having fun.

Anyway I get a big lemon flavor from this cook and like it just fine. Tim :P

The tilapia looks delicious Tim! :) That's a nice way of preparing it so it doesn't stick on the grill.
