I FORGOT MY PASSWORD. i WAS ISSUED ANOTHER PASSWORD FROM THE EGGHEADFORUM. NOW THAT I'VE BEEN ISSUED A PASSWORD I WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE IT TO SOMETHING I WOULD REMEMBER. I WENT TO MY PROFILE BUT IT WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO ENTER A NEW PASSWORD. CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO CHANGE MY PASSWORD?

    Taterhead,

    - Login as with your new assign password.
    - Under Member go to "Edit MY Profile"
    - At the top under password, type your wanted password
    - At next line under verify password, retype your wanted password.
    - Scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit "Update"
    - It should do the job for you.

    P.S. Do not use CAP LETTERS

    No, this does not work. I entered new password and when I updated it gave me a message that this handle was already being used by the forum.

    This appears to be an unintended side effect of fixing the duplicate handle issue.
    I need to investigate further and fix it.
