has anyone tried to marinate ribs in Dr. Pepper?
I'm sure its been done.......I'm thinking of marinating the ribs in that then basting at the end with a black cherry bbq sauce and smoked with cherry wood of course

I have not tried it but there was a recipe in a Men's Health Magazine a few months back that said to marinate with Dr. Pepper... The picture looked awesome.. Let me know if you try it and how it works out!
