Put a brisket on this morning at 0800; brined with JH brisket brine and coated with JH brisket rub. More pictures to follow when done.

I cut an opening in the thicker end and made a large pocket inside the entire brisket; poured the brine and peppers in the pocket. Let brine for 24hrs and set the temp at 225 deg.

Very nice Chris - I use JH Brisket rub as well but I haven't tried the brine, in fact I haven't brined a brisket yet. I'll give it shot next round. I also like JH Pecan on wibs. I flip back and forth between JH and DP Dizzy dust on wibs

I love the John Henry Sugar Maple rub on the ribs followed by the Pecan rub. I want to know how the JH Brisket rub tastes; currently I use Cook Shack rub. Let us know.
