Just wanted to put the word out that Dizzy Pig will be competing in a 49-team state championship in Green Lane PA this weekend. All 7 eggs are loaded and I expect to pull in Thursday eve. Chuck and Brian are going to join me on Friday. WooDoggies is up in the air still. Anyways, if you're in the area Friday stop on by and say howdy.
It's a little ways North of Philly. Looks like about an hour from the Mid-Egglantic Fest.

Best of luck, guys !
Let us know how you do ! -
Chris, I wish the best of luck in the competition. How do you transport the eggs? I'm doing my first comp about 3 hours from home in 2 months and I'm starting to try and nail the details at this point. If you don't mind one more question, how many eggs do you use for each meat? I have 3 large eggs I'm taking along with 2 UDS smokers. I have no clue how I'm going to lay it out since I can cook brisket and butts on the UDS but I can do all 4 on the eggs. Decisions.

Thanks yall! We feel pretty good about our entries right now, and think we'll be cooking some good food this weekend. Hopefully we'll land in front of the right judges!
Scott, we transport 3 larges and an XL in the trailer....in the nests, strapped against the wall with the flat part of the hinge facing the wall. A medium, small and mini ride in the back of my truck, out of the nests.
We cook 2 briskets on 2 different Larges, 2 butts on the other large. Ribs on the XL, and chicken on the Medium. From what I remember, BobbyQ cooks all of his entries on a couple XLs. Sounds like you have plenty of space.
Cheers!

When I get to the point where I can galavant around the country at will, we'll be down your way! Actually we've been eyeing coming down to Lakeland and trying a comp during the winter. But it keeps getting pushed to "next year".
Hope you are well bro.
