I've seen this product mentioned a number of times on here and I was hoping to get some opinions from some of you owners out there. How do you use it?

Among other things, I want to try it with burgers. I live about 50 miles from Bobcat Bite, home of Bon Appetit's best burger in a America, and they cook on a very old and certainly well-seasoned griddle. The crust on those puppies is fantastic, not to mention really hard to duplicate.

Also, looks like they are gonna be coming out with a round version that will fit the LBGE not coincidentally. As usual, thanks in advance.

WHOA  Kinda pricey, don't know anything about it, but it is likely to go on my "wish list" :P

I just posted below a link to a fish taco video I made using my Griddle Q on the gasser.

    http://www.eggheadforum.com/index.php?option=com_simpleboard&func=view&id=887138&catid=1

It's a very cool accessory to have. I gave my gasser away so I only use the Griddle Q that fits my large Egg now.

Here's another link to a video:

And here I'm making cornbread omelets at the Oklahoma (also Texas) Eggfests:

I've done steaks, burgers, shrimp, fish, veggies, all kinds of breakfasts's on mine and love it.

    You will enjoy owning one.

Thanks to Spring Chicken I bought my Griddle-Q and I love it! Granted I don't use it that often, but when the "want" hits me I have the toy! While this may seem like being a square peg in a round hole it works for me. The new round one will be nice but I doubt I will be buying one as the squareness when using a spatula is great! BTW here's a slide show - you may have to click on it to get it going!

    Berrygood,

I live 1,300 miles from Bobcat and have been twice!! By far the best burger I've ever eaten! I got the green chili burger and it was awesome!

I found an article listing the top 25 burgers in the US and Bobcat Bite was in there. I would love to try everyone on the list and see if I agree! I agree with Bobcat for sure!!

Now that's committment, Steve. We're on the same page, friend. BB has now won Bon Appetit's Best in consecutive years. For the life of me, i can't figure out how they do it with that perfect outer crust and the middle cooked so perfectly even.

Tell you what: I'll meet you up there this weekend and buy you lunch. ;)

I love the round model coming out but that price will keep me away for sure. Wow. $130 for a few pounds of stainless steel. Nice but no thanks.

I haven't done much griddleing, but it seems my 14" C.I. skillet would do the trick. Is there some other advantage of the Griddle Q that would be worth the expense?
