I literally bought a thousand bamboo skewers from restaurant depot last year and to date I have used 30. I don't care because they were like $6 I will use the rest to build mini wooden pikes for the rabbits who have my yard under seige (great movie!).
If these things really are as good as they sound I am sold.
Can someone please post pics of them on the egg, ideally a LBGE :silly: -
Wow, brutal crowd here today!! Thanks for getting my back, Bruce!
It's actually an amazing thing to have been photgraphed with an empty glass knowing that DOW and reelgem were in the same room!
Yes Darian, I lost but you can't say I didn't try:

Fancy peppers! All I know how to do is cut a swan out of an apple.
-
-
What makes them so good? Are they somehow better than the normal straight ones?
-
Flexible - can conform to any cook. The tip is blunt so you can skewer then put in a bag to marinade, then out and on the grill. Easy to thread on and off. Easy to flip (much easier than straight skewers, IMO).
Dishwasher safe - easy-peasy cleanup :woohoo:
I bought several packs last time they were on Woot (in the fall) and gave several as 'stocking stuffers' to my adult kids. -
They are flexible and long. Each single wire is about the size of two regular skewers, and you can skewer your raws, the marinade the whole shebang at once in a freezer bag if you want.
There are three full wires in this large freezer bag, marinated overnight in the fridge:
Out of the bag and grillin:

Bruce,
You gave 110% all day my friend. Brad had it with the name and Bio to go with his cook.
I'm burning DVDs for you right now. Will be in the mail in the morning.
DarianThank you,DarianGalveston Texas -
thanks for the heads up. got me some.
-
Am I right in thinking that a package of these, like they were giving aware for door prizes at the TX Eggfest, is just 2 to a pack? So this would be about 3 packages worth if you bought them in stores?
-
Thanks Darian! I look forward to the pictures and can't thank you and Lora enough for hanging with us and helping out all day...you two are great!
Bruce -
I wasn't at TX, but it is the same as the two pack they were selling at Waldorf, and both of my previous packs each contained 2. So, yes, it is equivalent to three regular packages. I hope they even come packaged in two's so I can give some as gifts.

I like em
-
Count me in for one. The look like a great utility to have.
-
Just ordered mine. Sounds like a great deal.
