I'm a fairly new Egghead and have been trying several different kinds of lump and The Naked Whiz's website has been very helpful in my search for the perfect lump. I watched a video on the facility where the Fire King lump is made in Missouri and decided to try it. It didn't hurt that there's a guy in St Louis that is selling the lump at wholesale prices. After a couple of cooks with the Fire King, I've got to admit that it's the best that I've tried so far. Great flavor, east to start, and long lasting. Pure Missouri hardwoods. Has anyone else tried Fire King?
