Big Weekend for the BGE teams

History was made today for the BGE community. At the Aurburn, AL BBQ contest J&J Southern Smokers (new BGE team) took Grand Champion and Jus Fer Fun took Reserve Grand Champion.
About an hour later The EGGsequetive Council took Grand Champion at Winchester, TN.
These were 2 very tough contests and the teams did an amazing job!!
Dizzy Pig was up in MD and took a strong fifth in a field of 105 tough teams.

actually there were 135 teams at salisbury and there were more eggs than i have ever seen at a competition!!! lots of teams using other cookers had an egg at their site. -

Thanks Bobby and all the rest of you. We had a great weekend. J & J and Little J did a great job. First all Egg contest,First contest with the Little Man along,and First Grand what a weekend for them. Ms.Diane was on a Egg High with reserve as she had two of our daughters on site giving her some Boda Getta support. All four of the total Egg Teams got a walk. Dustin and Rubbin both got walks to the stage. A Great weekend on the Plains and a Big Congrats to all from Jus-Fer-Fun.
