Actually my first steak on the egg. I usually do the 500 degree iron skillet method in the oven but finally tried the TRex method.[p]Wow. What an excellent steak paid 15 bucks for a 1.5 pound Ribeye. After the the sear when I went to put the steak on the plate and I dropped the sucker on the concrete....Did I throw it out heck no, even though there had to be some Roundup residue floating around. [p]Anyway, after 20 minutes I put if back on for 6 minutes per side and I must say it was the best steak I've ever had/or cooked. And I buy whole tendorloins two at a time, so I've cooked a ton of steaks.[p]It was excellent. Thanks TRex for the method and many thanks to Whiz for hosting.
