There is a Shun Kaji on eB*y(used,but mint condition) 8" Chefs knife in Toronto with a Buy It Now of $80. That is a steal if you need a new chef's knife. I paid almost double that for mine new. The kaji line has an SG-2 powdered steel core with true damascus layering. It is an excellent Chefs knife.
