Anybody marinade with their vacuum sealer?

I've tried it a few times with ours http://www.cabelas.com/p-0071172519231a.shtml and liked the results. Don't notice much marinading done up here or in combination with a rub (rinse and rub).

I do it all the time. Usually with the canisters instead of bags.

I used to use the special marinating dish made by FoodSaver and it worked well. I say used to meaning when I was pressed for time. Now I'm retired I plan in advance and haven't used it in years...in fact not even sure where it is! :SRe-gasketing America one yard at a time.

I use the canisters and they work well.This is the greatest signature EVAR!

I've started to pour the martinade in as frozen meat thaws out a little and re-vacuum. I've seen the 'tumbler' marinaders as well; yet am not certain whether the cannister, bag or this dedicated marinading device works better than the other.

If you already have a vacuum sealer the rectangular cannister works well. Once it is under vacuum you can leave it in the fridge and flip it once in a while. You can do the same with a bag but you can't get full vacuum on it because of the liquid.
