My table is finally done..

Just dropped my egg in it last night, and thought i would snap some pics of it today, in the daytime..
I am happy to finally have a work surface, and also storage for my accessories, lump, utensils, etc.
It is made out of white oak, stained with Minwax Sedona Red, and finished with Spar Urethane.
I have to put on my Stainless Hooks, and it will be all done.

very nice and I don't want to throw cold water on you - but I thought BGE recommends to NOT use the feet with an XL. Anybody want to correct me or clarify?Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.

Nice job on your table. I like where you have a drawer and a cabinet for storage.
One thing you might want to consider, if you are a beer drinker, is a bottle cap opener. It's just adds to the message of GRILLIN' AND CHILLIN. -
Thanks for the feedback everyone.. I appreciate it.
As for the feet, i plan to add a 4th foot, actually, and really don't see myself having an issue, even at 3.
I had a paver cut into 4 pieces, and put a whole paver in the center, and have 4 on the outside of that in which the feet can rest on. There is allot of airflow under there, by not just having a solid paver.
Here is a shot underneath, to get a reference of the storage. I think i should easily be able to get 70+lbs of lump under there.. The other side fits all the XL accessories easily.

Thanks..
An opener is for sure going to make its way on there. I am just looking for the right one. I want something a bit unique, and something that will compliment the table. -
Great looking table! The work area and storage
is very nice. As a rookie, I didn't quite know
what I needed but it looks like it was well thought

Very nice!! Did you have plans or is that your own design?

Wow, thanks so much..Very nice!! Did you have plans or is that your own design?
Thanks allot.. I actually looked at the table gallery for inspiration, then added specific things that i wanted. I wanted to maximize storage space so i could fit my lump, and my XL accessories. I really wanted a big working area. I also had a picture in my mind as far as color scheme i wanted, and the overall "feel" i wanted it to have.
I actually found a guy on Craigslist to build it. I explained to him exactly what i wanted, dimensions, etc. We went back and forth for a while, designing it, untill we had something i liked.. It cost around 650-700 said and done(materials/labor) so really not too bad.. -
Looks really nice... Good idea on finding a carpenter, you got exactly what you wanted and i think the price was pretty good.
-
Wow :woohoo: That looks terrific
-
me thinks the builder was more of a professional cabinet maker vs just a carpenter based on the quality of construction. I agree that was a good price...the guy must have been a tad hungry for business!Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.

Nice job, beautiful looking table.
-
Thanks again everyone..
The price could have been lowered quite a bit if i had used the wheels from my nest(wheels at home depot were like $15 a piece), and if i chose a cheaper tile instead of granite.. Also the white oak was a bit more then red oak, and cypress.
Not to mention those hooks are like $15 each.. -
