Ok..My first Pork Butt

This is a small boneless shoulder. Its just my wife and I so i didnt want massive amounts of leftovers B) I was fairly satisfied with the cook. Might have left in in just a tad too long but otherwise very tasty. 250 dome with 200 internal temp.

  • Looks great! Don't be afraid of pulled pork leftovers-if you don't have a "foodsaver" get one. Put meal sized portions of pulled in the freezer. Often use the "left overs" to season pinto beans, used in pizza toppings, and with hominy.
  • Nicely done, left over pulled pork makes great enchiladas

    In addition to freezing leftovers for future meals I vac bag and freeze some for the kids when they come home as they always want some to take with them.

    No way that is overdone - looks perfect. The bark is a dead giveaway.
