Here's a few pics of last nights dinner.I just love the mini for grilling a couple steaks :woohoo: After a long/tiring day of working, then a 3 hour bike ride with the kid,I was ready to cook something quick, then take a nap :P  Anyway, here's the pics(so I know that it happened) So far,I'm enjoying this spring thing
Added some DP Raising the Steaks :woohoo:
Then:onto the mini...
MMMMMMM.....I know they're ugly, but they were perfectly done(medium-rare)with a little crunch on the outside
Sorry,no sliced/plated pics, but they were great as was the weather :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
I hope that ya'll had as good of a Saturday as I did Thanks for listening,

you better be careful, after a few beverages, bill has been known to "leave things in" when operating, & given the event going on at the time, you could have a bacon wrapped tater tot all sewn up in there :ermm: :laugh:happy in the hut

-
Doug - thanks for the post. I'm cooking an aged T-bone for dinner tonight and thought I would try out the mini for the cook. Haven't had it very long and this would be my first steak cook on it. Seems like it would do a better job of the searing than trying to do so on the large.
-
You're welcome Di The mini is great for this,it gets up to temp and ready to sear in no time I use my mini for soo many quick cooks,it's just an awesome machine :woohoo:
-
Doug, they look perfect! I've got a lamb chop I am wanting to do on the mini. Thanks for the encouragement!Molly
