Big Green Egg - EGGhead Forum - The Ultimate Cooking Experience...
We’re feeling pretty super, how about you? The big game is fast approaching, and while we love football, we love an excuse to invite people over and cook even more! You too can cook like a champion with recipes from Dr. BBQ’s NFL Gameday Cookbook: Grilled Tuna Sandwiches from Seattle and Baked Brie from New England. Who’s going to win? You’ll have to cook both to find out.

So, lets get to the pics.

The raws (Dizzy Dust for one, Pineapple Head for the other):

On the Egg:

Ready to be devoured:

Kid tested, kid approved!

Daddy's plate:

This was easily the best chicken I have ever eaten, although it's going to take some practice learning the fine art of temperature control :)

Oppps op2K, I can't see your pics. Nonetheless, I am sure it looked great and tasted even better! Nothing like Spatchcock chicken on the egg! Welcome.

Welcome and glad you enjoyed your first cook and hope you have many more. There is a pretty detailed link somewhere on how to post those pics and sure someone will give it to you as I don't have it.

Congrats on the new BGE. The spatchcock sounds delicious. As for the temperature control, there's only one solution for that...more cooks. Enjoy
