You can glue it back on, assuming it isn't shattered, using JB Weld. It's a 2-component adhesive that can usually be found in the plumbing section at your local Ace hardware store.

Tary some JB Weld $5-6 at Ace hardware.
-
Make sure you use clamps.

thanks, i was just gonna crack open a bottle of wine and mourn the loss, but i will give it a try and see what happens
-
You can still crack open the wine to victory over the ceramic problem.

If the epoxy doesn't work to your liking, spend the money on an Adjustable Rig & Spider (if it's for a large egg. Remove the other lets, cut or grind them off and use the legless plate setter for an indirect barrier.

Just a thought? I have heard mention of using JB Weld to fix plate setters, and fire boxes before on the forum, but I kind of wonder? Would you eat JB Weld? "They", you know the "they", claim that BPA leaches into liquids inside of a bottle that has BPA in the material that the bottle is made from, what will JB Weld do when it is at several hundred degrees? Not trying to discourage anyone, just asking questions?

It works great

Cut the other 2 legs off with a tile saw and make it into a pizza stone. Or JB Weld the leg back on if the break is not to badly shattered (into a bunch of pieces).
Where are you located? I have the tools and am capable of doing the surgery or the repair. -
The J-B Weld FAQ says:Q: How much heat can J-B Weld withstand?
A: J-B Weld (Part # 8265-S, 8265, and 8280) can withstand a constant temperature of 500 degrees F. The maximum temperature threshold is approximately 600 degrees F for a short term (10 minutes).

Wow, that's amazing. I've had mine repaired with JB Weld for almost two years and have had it over those temps and times many times and it stayed intact.Knoxville, TN
