February Has Been Good To Me

11 days ago we had our 30th anniversary(2-16-10). Today(2-27-10) 6 years ago my wife(Kaye)gave me one of her kidneys.The gift of life. February 1990 we got our first BGE.Now I need to cook something good on the egg tonight.Have a great weekend.

Larry what a moving gesture....love it!!!!! I was a liver donor myself three years ago, to Beli our 2 year old who was born with biliary atresia. This gave us an opportunity to enjoy him a little bit longer until God decided to take him & give us a little angel. Have a great dinner & enjoy it with your better half.....Felicidades!!!!!!

Wow, a Kidney or Liver.. Talk about the ultimate gift, a piece of yourself literally.
My sister is a kidney transplant recipient. She was on Dialysis for several years in waiting for a donor when I finally convinced myself that I should donate a kidney. Went through all the testing and was days away from surgery when she was contacted by Emory University Hospital that her number was being called for a donor. I still may need to do it at some point in the future.
It is one decision that is not to be taken lightly. Anyone that has done it should be commended. -
You are right...Kaye is a very special person.Some of my friends said their wife would say it's been nice knowing you.LOL
