Big Green Egg - EGGhead Forum - The Ultimate Cooking Experience...
We’re feeling pretty super, how about you? The big game is fast approaching, and while we love football, we love an excuse to invite people over and cook even more! You too can cook like a champion with recipes from Dr. BBQ’s NFL Gameday Cookbook: Grilled Tuna Sandwiches from Seattle and Baked Brie from New England. Who’s going to win? You’ll have to cook both to find out.

Hello everyone,

I have been using a Big Green Egg for several years but had never heard of this forum until this morning when I was web searcing for information on the steel bands.
I found what I was looking for and also some of the incredible pictures some of you all provide.
I use my Big Green Egg mostly for smoking and grilling. I would never have thought about bread or pizza.

Welcome! Some great stuff here. I cooked on an egg for many years before I found this forum. Really opens your eyes to what is possible :)

Unfortunately "French fried potaters" is not one of the BGE's strongest features, although it is possible to prepare. I'm sure we can expand your horizons by just a little bit. Welcome and get a camera and share in the fun. Congrats on your first post. :)

  • The head honcho from AES always does french fries on the Egg at our PNW Eggfest. He has a big pot of oil going and plops them in there. It always scares the bejeesus out of me with all that hot oil!
