beef jerky

Hello all,[p]just got my Green Egg and would like to make some jerky. Any recipes and suggestions on how to prepare would be appreciated. Thank you!

    Start off with Gfw's River CIty Jerky recipe. I use it for a good base. I use Jack Daniels chips for smoke but don't over do it. I cook at least 6-8 hours at 190 indirect.

    Car Wash Mike,[p]Yup.. just to chime in... I'd start with the river city recipe (it is verrrrry good) and play around from there... I love Jerky from the egg... AS Mike said 6-8 hours, @ 190... I use hickory or oak to smoke.. oh yeah flip your beef around every two hours so the drying / cooking is even.[p]Cheers, [p]Brian
