I don't personally..but Jim W ( Who unfortunately like many old regulars no longer comes around here ) has a comp trailer setup with 4 XL's in it......not the greatest shot...but I'll see what else I got...
-
and another lost memeber QBabe.. -
Do you know if they transport them with the guts in place?
-
They DID...I haven't talked to Jim in a while..but I see no reason to say at this point that they would not now..hell they were usuaully full of lump and ready to light...an awesome rig..I gotta say..
-
Thanks for posting Wess - first time seeing that.
The inside of that trailer must smell like an old time Q house - nice. -
I really though I had some inside shots..but didn't find any on my website...it is truly amazing....let me dig through some other years and see what I got...
-
Sorry Frank...I checked other years, even looked for files on my computer that I may have not included in the webpage...didn't find anything any better..

That was one fine party rig, he hasn't been back to Waldorf in at least 3 years, has he? -RP
-
Those were from 07 and I don't belive he has been back to Waldorf since then...shame to think back and realize how many good friends don't come around here anymore..
-
Been to Waldorf the last two years and I never laid eyes on that. I would have remembered that setup.
-
Thanks for all the help and checking for pictures .
Where is Waldorf?
If anyone k nows where this trailer setup is located, let me know -
Thanks for looking Wess - it sure looks nice
Think I have a case of Egg Trailer Envy -
Not sure at all if you can still contact him through registered members here on the forum..I didn't look before replying...send me an e mail and I'll give you any info I have......Wladorf, Maryland...The original Eggfest..
-
As I said..It is very impressive..well thought out and well executed....cooked some homemade sausage in there..
-
AWWWW MANNNN! I would LOVE to build a trailer similar to that! Thanks for postin the pic!

Morning Al:
Jim W. has been there the last two years, but not with the trailer...I think he only had the trailer there in 2006 & 2007. I looked through my pics, but couldn't find one either. That is one nice rig...did my shrimpburgers in there at the after party in 2007.Have a GREAT day!

There was a team out off Al. that hauled several Eggs mounted in tables on an open trailer. Several teams haul two to five Eggs around in enclosed trailers strapped to the walls. Green Egg Dan hauled several on a cargo hauler on the back of a motor home. i never had any prolem in the first two trailers I used. When we got a toy hauler I cracked the base of two Eggs before I started padding the parts for trips. I think what happened in both cases was rough roads caused the trailer to bouce because of the distance behind the axles. Let me suggest looking at a dual axle trailer for safety if you have a flat. Hope this helps.

This is probably the picture Wes was looking for.
It's the only one I could find.
Spring "Eggs On Wheels" Chicken
Spring Texas USA -
You can start with some ideas from this and go from there.
(It's in PowerPoint so you will need PowerPoint viewer)
Just click on each slide and it will advance.

Spring "Trailer Trash" Chicken -
That would make a nice rig at any after party. See if they are booked for OKC eggfest.
-
Me thinks the price would be high, especially since it would have to drive all the way from Australia. But we can ask...
Maybe we can make our own and drive somewhere every weekend for an Eggfest. Just attach another trailer full of Eggs, lump and cots for those who need a nap from partying. I'll drive.
Spring "Egg Choo Choo Pilot" Chicken -
Thats a great shot of it Leroy....Waldorf afterparty..I really thought I had a picture inside, but had no luck finding it..I talked to Jim and he said he is going to be at Waldorf this year...I don't think he will be bringing the rig tho...
-
I don't have any better pics of the trailer than the ones that are posted. Sorry.
We haven't taken the trailer to Waldorf since 2007. With gas prices the way they have been in past years, it would cost almost $500 to drag it. We have used it primarily for KCBS competitions in the Charlotte area.
I personally have been to Waldorf every year that it has been held (since 2000) along with one or both of my sons. I think most people will remember us for our ribs.

Here's one of you and John with Brenda from 04...

So Wess, So why do they no longer come around here? I know that Rick's Tropical Delight was one of my favorite posters and he's gone. Stike is now something else....What's up?
My feeling on posting, someone says something you don't like go get another Miller Lite out of the fridge and laugh it off.
Great Eggers,Come back! We need your insight! Pigs have flown, Hell has frozen over and the Saints won the Super Bowl!!!

All I can say is this forum is NOT what it used to be...not gonna get into any kinda dispute over how times have changed..or newbies..or difficult to search..or any other single point that could be argued....to answer your question....It isn't what it used to be, and what many original members knew and loved...myself included...Reality...it is what it is, sadly for members today they have lost a lot of great resources because of that fact, but the fact remains....

This is the trailer our local BGE dearler, Grate Grills and More uses for catering. It's set up to handle four eggs. It's really nice.
