Picked this up at the local Loblaws - beef tenderloin for $15.41/kg - that's $6.99/lb for you Yanks. This is a 3.3 lb chunk. I've seen it as low as $9.99 before, but never this low. It's advertised as "select or higher", so the smart money is on that it's a chunk of select given the price. Not that it matters - with the tenderloin there is little difference between a prime, choice, and select due to the inherent lack of marbling.

I might have to go back and pick up another chunk before the sale is over!
