Just pulled the first two butt's. Yes, I was a little worried. I did an injection for the first time. I know, don't stray from the usual espcially when doing ift for someone else. But I have to say, it is good. Second one fell apart when I tried to pick it up with the fork. I may try another recipe to inject, but it worked out great.

Looks great how was the bark? Tim

Glad it worked out for you Jason!

There was a little bark, not as much as usual.

Thank you.

What did you inject it with? My Mother in law from Louisiana mentioned a cajun injection when she visited not long ago. She said they did it in turkeys and Boston Butts.

I used a recipe I found on here. Worchestire, brown sugar, salt and apple juice.
