Had some sauce leftover from the Chicken Sauce Piquante a couple of days ago. Also had some shrimp. Bright idea... combine them.
Also make some Mac 'n Cheese to use up all that old cheese in the frig.
Some bread would be nice, so homemade bread it is...
Not bad for leftovers.
Here's the movie....

Thanks.
Yea, the camera.... My Sony A300 SLR camera battery died just as I was ready to take photos. So I grabbed my Flip video camera and took some short videos of each thing then selected one image in each video to save as a photo. Then I made a video movie of the still photos. Pretty good for a $79 pocket camcorder huh?

Yea, I think that recipe is a keeper. Did I mention that I added a bit of Gumbo File to the recipe? I thought it would be a nice touch and it was.

And I didn't have to even pay $8 for the movie, or wear those d@#n 3D glasses. WooHoo :woohoo:
Enjoyed it , Leroy ! -
Got the shrimp on sale so it seemed the right thing to do by adding them to the leftover sauce. Made for an inexpensive dinner.
I took a loaf over to my neighbors and they liked it too. They had a time trying to figure out what the unusual flavor was. I have a Rosemary bush so I shucked some leaves off and ground them up into little flakes. Next time I'll add a wee bit more but it really added a nice touch to the bread.

Now the test...
a) no rum & Coke tonight
b) water in the glass means something
c) you mention coffee
d) no wonder you get up at 2 to 3 AM
e) all of the above
f) see...I'm not watching TV tonight either!Re-gasketing America one yard at a time. -
Actually, I would have followed Teresa SWOkla's recipe that Jerry posted a few days ago but I didn't have all the ingredients. So I improvised with what I had. It could have been a lot better if I would have had all the ingredients. On top of all that, my yeast was old.
Fortunately, I did have a Rosemary bush. That probably saved it...
Apparently, bread is very forgiving.

Ha... I wish... Then I might be able to hob-nob with the rich and famous, or better yet, them hob-nob with me. There is a difference, or so I'm told.
