I've been seeing a lot of posts about fatties. My question is what differentiates a fattie from meatloaf?
I personally am NOT a big meatloaf fan, but am interested in this fattie concept as I'm currently doing the meat diet, aka atkins.
thanks

a fattie is just a big log of breakfast sausage, smoked for a couple hours. some recipes have you roll the log out flat and stuff with virtually anything, then roll them back up into a log.

I would not make fatties a regular part of any diet, they aren't called fatties for nothing. A meat loaf as far I have ever seen is at least part beef and may be a mix with pork and/or veal. I don't know how bad either one actually is for us but they can't be good.

the thing itself is rarely truly bad for you. it's how much you have of it.

Life was so much simpler when we didn't know what we were eating was fixin' to kill us..
