Changed the gasket on my XL.

And it was a chore. Burnt the felt gasket off burning the egg clean, but I had wanted a nomex on there anyway. Had to take the dome off to do it right, but getting it back on there after was a ****. Hope this nomex lasts awhile, have had good luck with it on the Large so fingers crossed.

I feel your pain. Spent the morning doing the same thing on my large, for the same reason. I really hope this isn't a frequent event.

Ironic, I burnt my gasket off my large last night and just finished cleaning the remnants of it off.
It will NOT be replaced. My medium hasn't had one for a couple of years with NO discernible difference in performance.
As I saw yesterday - Gaskets! We don't need no stinking gaskets!
