Deck Lumber for Table

Unknown
edited November -1 in EGG Table Forum
I'm thinking of building a table and fear that the staining and finishing will be the majority of the work. Has anyone used either pre-treated deck lumber or synthetic deck lumber to build an egg table? I would not mind the rougher look this would provide, and it seems it would give excellent durability.

Any thoughts?

By the way, the table will be for 2 eggs, one medium, one large.
