Wanted to do something on the Egg last night but ran into a long ordeal involving a raccoon. Neighbor called me wanting to know what to do with a raccoon that was trying to get into their front door. I said I'd be right over because that didn't sound right.
As I suspected the poor thing was in the mid/late stages of having distemper so after a bit of chasing and corralling another neighbor and I administered a treatment of 40/grain lead intercranially to end its misery.
So tonight it's just going to be some fat pork chops on the mini. Bathing in 7 Seas Robust and dijon now.

Looking good. How is life in the 'Nati. My family is from that area, but I have been in So. Cal. for over 20 years. I am still and always will be a Bengals fan, so I am happy I have something to cheer about this year. I imagine the whole city is going nuts about their season so far.

Definitely more orange & black around town this year but there just barely making the deadline selling out the home games. I blame that on stupidly high prices and tough economy. The Reds are a family oriented organization, the Bengals are a pure profit driven organization there the #1 cause is to line Mike Brow's pocket. Winning is an afterthought.
The big new here is the passage of the vote for Ohio that means a downtown casino. There are a lot of hopes riding on that one.
Aside from that and few new buildings it's probably much as you left it. Most of the action is in N. KY and especially in Newport KY. Hamilton County and city of Cincinnati blew the chance and now Newport has an official Hoffbrau Haus!?!?!! Oh well...at least it's close.
Enjoy your SoCal weather. It's grey, cold and wet here, but we should have a somewhat white Christmas so I'm happy. -
I didn't think raccoon would yield such large chops.

That musta been a giant! Maybe the robust italian dressing helps take some of the gamey flavor out of the coon chops though!

Oh yeah, I forgot to ask what happened to the coon.

Looks like a great start

Administered 40/grains lead intracranially i.e. he died quickly of high velocity lead poisoning. -
