I got some baby back ribs rubbed down and in the fridge waiting till tomorrow am to put on.
I heard once wrapping meat in foil in the fridge could mess up the taste, is this a wise tail or any truth to it.
Mine are on a pan, covered with aluminum foil, will they be fine?

Seem's like I was reading something recently about how aluminum foil can corrode volcanically, when in contact with acidic foods?
There was a little photo showing teeny-tiny holes in the foil, where it had touched.
No idea if it affects the taste though however. -
Some folks wrap in plastic wrap then put in foil for the overniter.I really do not know if it makes a difference.Your call.

I am not going to take a chance, I put plastic wrap over the ribs, then some freezer paper then the foil.

Foil WILL corrode!! As for a taste or anything other…I don’t know.
I will tent / rest with foil, but I either cover a glass pan with plastic wrap or use a zip-lock bag for any marinade.
