Lazy

I've been absent from the forum for quite a while, though I've continued to cook on my MBGE. I'm basically lazy, so I've been choosing to skip the plate setter-drip pan-indirect route for longer, low temp cooks. I've been using a direct, raised grid method. Works well for me with BB ribs in a 2-1.5-1 regime@ 250°. Today I tried the same method at 4-1-1 for beef back ribs. I've done this indirect with a drip pan to great success. This one didn't translate as well. While the ribs were edible, they definitely suffered from direct heat. It's good to learn the limits of your laziness.
