    i don't know about you folks.... but if i wanted to attend that event....i'd register on my own... i really don't like being solicited by a spambot to ask me if i want to attend! ..... to the organizers of said event.... please remove me from your spam list! .. there is nowhere on the site to click on to say.."unsubscribe me".... i hate the whole "spam" thing which becomes more invasive each day....rr

    I will try and find her recipe. I know she uses figs, raspberry gelatin, chipotles & sugar..but I will find out in what quantities and let you know.

    And I don't think of something like this as spam. the junk I get for Viagra and products I have no interest in or need for and for my inheritance from a long lost uncle in South Africa!!!!! LOL Now that is spam!!

    No this is an actual Eggfest put on by people who love the egg and sharing it with others. They do not get anything out of this except the joy of hanging with fellow eggers...and I can't wait to go and have a great time. :P :woohoo: :silly:

    LOL No you didn't sound harsh, that is what sucks for online "talking" and I know what you mean about spam. I have two email addies and I get TONS :( But when it is fest related or egg related I like it :)and yes they do frown on self promoting on the forum and that is nice. the guys putting this together are pretty good eggs :) and it is going to be very special. I think they are trying to give it some more attention because it is being changed from one side of the state to the other, to avoid confusion for people planning on coming. will we get to meet you there?? FL is a fun state to have a fest LOL

    Ray...Strictly fellow Eggheads trying to get a bunch of fellow Eggheads together for a great weekend of food and fun! Nothing is gained by the people putting it together (unless you count worries...headaches...and a lot of extra work done on a strictly volunteer basis....) :blink: Every penny of fees collected go right back into the event itself. You should think about coming....it's going to be a great time! ;)

    like i said.... sorry for freakin' out.... i got an email from , what i thought was a commercial site..... i didn't realize it was put there by fellow eggers.... i thought it was somebody who sucked my email address off of the forum for "evil doing".... sorry again.... i'll definitely try to make it... the ski season should be near the end by then.... thanks again for your patience and understanding.... ray
